ARENDSIG GRENACHE 2016 INSPIRATIONAL BATCH 2

VITICULTURE

This Grenache is made from a single vineyard planted on clay, sand and river stone soil. The farm is located against Langeberg mountains, west facing slope, Klaasvoogds east, Robertson wine valley. Macro climate is Mediterranean, Meso-climate is influenced by everyday South Eastern breeze during summer, morning fog in winter, big variation in day & night temperatures, Langeberg and Riviersonderend Mountain range and Breede River that runs through the valley.

WINEMAKING

Inspirational Batch wines are a Selection of Single Vineyard Wines from unique soil, climate and location. This wine is made with minimal interference throughout the vilification. During fermentation, natural yeasts are used and not enzymes. Maturation takes place in neutral vessels to bring through the unique vineyard character. Due to minimal interference through vilification, sediment may occur. Maturation takes place for 6 months in concrete tank, no wood contact.

Ph: 3.40; TA: 5.5; Vol: 14.03%; VSO2: 14 mg/l; TSO2: 58 mg/l; RS: 2.1 g/l

TASTING NOTE

Nose: Violets, plums, cherry

Palate: Fleshy, syrupy texture, elegant

On orders of just £100 or above – order by 12pm for next working day service.

Saturday deliveries will take place on an ad-hoc basis at £30 plus vat on top of the standard delivery charge for the specified area. Please email your order to [email protected] and a we will contact you regarding your order. Delivery is between 9am and 6pm - goods may be left by instruction.

For orders of less than £100 we charge just £12.75 excluding vat within London*.

We hope you understand delivering wine is not like delivering clothes or books, which explains the higher cost than you may anticipate.
