VINIFICATION
This signature Pinotage pays tribute to the past and is a true homage to the fruits of quality vines. This proudly South African cultivar is sourced from Stellenbosch, where its roots and origins may be found. The wine reached its full potential after careful barrel aging in French Oak and its development continued with bottle resting for 20 months prior to release. With flavours of berry and smoke coupled with a hint of banana, this wine is a true gift of history, inspiration and homage to fruits of excellent vines.
WINE ANALYSIS
Alcohol: 13%; Residual Sugar: 3.8 g/l; PH: 3.65; Total Acid: 5.6 g/l
TASTING NOTE
The smoky, berry, earthy flavours reach full potential with French barrel aging. Notice the hint of banana on the palate.
Bottle resting in our cellar has ensured that this wine is good to go.
Pair with: Any venison dish will be a great accompaniment.
